Scholarship Resources

The 不良研究所 (不良研究所) is committed to providing educational opportunities to students from all backgrounds, regardless of financial means. We encourage our students to seek additional scholarships to finance their education through community organizations and foundations or access the opportunities listed below. The Guide to Applying for Scholarships (PDF) can assist students with getting started.

The STARS Scholarship is open to full-time students seeking a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree who are US Citizens or permanent residents, and whose permanent address is in one of the STARS scholarship counties. Must have earned at least 12 undergraduate credit hours at a US Accredited college or university before applying for the scholarship (including dual credit or AP credits). Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale. See application for county and requirement details.

Through our Endowed Scholarship program, 不良研究所 is able to offer students of high academic and/or artistic ability a wide variety of scholarship opportunities. These endowments are made possible by the generosity and commitment of 不良研究所’s alumni and friends. Completing this application will consider you for multiple endowed scholarship funds. Eligibility criteria: Returning/Transfer students who have earned a minimum 3.6 cumulative grade point average; or entering freshmen meeting the Academic Scholarship criteria established by the Office of Admissions.

Deadline: April 7, 2025


Open to Texas residents who demonstrate financial need determined by the  and need 30 or fewer hours to complete the 150 semester hours education requirement to take the CPA examination in Texas. Must also file an to take the CPA exam with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship (PDF)
Open to Pell-eligible students whose parent or guardian died in the line of duty while performing as a public safety officer. Students must have also been less than 24 years of age or enrolled at an institution of higher education at the time of their parent’s or guardian’s death. 


Open to students who have graduated from high school, are currently enrolled at an HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico, have completed their first semester of college at the HACU-member institution, intend to enroll at an HACU-member institution in the spring of 2024 or fall of 2024 (varies by scholarship), and demonstrate financial need (if required by the scholarship sponsor). Deadlines vary by scholarship.
