To create partnerships and provide mutually beneficial resources for the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù community and sponsored ministries to support, learn and benefit from the interaction between the CCVI Ministries and the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù.

 

Strategic Goals

  • In creating partnerships think first of the Sponsored Ministries.
  • Increase the number of initiatives between ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù and the CCVI Ministries.
  • Increase the number of students, faculty and administrators involved with the CCVI Ministries.
  • Create future partnerships that would benefit ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù, the high schools and all students.
  • Create an awareness and celebrate that the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù community is a part of a larger network of ministries.
  • Help ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù to fulfill its Mission and have a greater impact by working with the Congregation’s Sponsored Ministries.

AVS Research Lab Receives Grant from Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù's Autonomous Vehicle Systems Research Lab received a new award from the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word benefitting the GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Mathematics, and Science) program.

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù and Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) signed agreements aimed at creating stronger pathways to higher education for IWA students via three scholarships and a tuition discount program.

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Announces New Scholarships at Incarnate Word H.S. and St. Anthony Catholic H.S.

Under new agreements, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù will provide three academic, merit-based scholarships of $25,000 per year for four years to IWHS and SACHS graduating seniors who are in the top 10 percent of their graduating class.

Agreements Established with each CCVI Sponsored Ministry

In December 2021, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù signed memorandums of understandings with each of the U.S.-based sponsored ministries of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word creating programs that open university doors for their employees and dependents. These agreements were established with The Village at Incarnate Word, St. Elizabeth's Adult Day Care, Visitation House, the Headwaters at Incarnate Word, El Puente Hispanic Ministry, and the Incarnate Word Foundation. Agreements with CHRISTUS Health were established in October 2021.
