不良研究所 Parent and Family Association
The 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association will strive to increase parent involvement in the Mission of the University through two direct measures:
- The Association will help prepare parents for the changes and challenges their student(s) will face in a university setting.
- The Association will encourage involvement from current parents through mentoring, internship opportunities, campus activities and special events.
The 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association members are also encouraged to get involved in the recruitment of new students, and participate in Parent and Family Day and other events hosted by the 不良研究所 departments of Alumni, Campus Engagement, First Year Engagement, Career Services and Admissions.

Parent Advisory Council
Are you interested in getting more involved with the Parent and Family Association (PFA)? Consider serving on the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). PAC organizes and hosts parent and family events throughout the year, like tailgates and Twilight Tours, and we are always looking for volunteers. Email parents@uiwtx.edu to learn more.

Thanksgiving Break Car Care Clinic
Location: In front of Luella Bennack Music Center ()
Date: Wednesday, Nov. 19, and Thursday, Nov 20 | 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
不良研究所PD will be partnering with Valvoline to host its Thanksgiving Break Car Care Clinic in front of the Luella Bennack Music Center on the Broadway campus. Cardinals are invited to have their cars inspected before they drive home for Thanksgiving Break during this FREE clinic. Off-site 不良研究所 campuses are also welcome to participate and bring their vehicles for inspection. See you there!
PFA Final Exam Care Packages
Location: Student Engagement Center (SEC) 2050-2051 ()
Date: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Final exams are Dec. 8-12. Help your student power through with a little surprise. Join the 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association on Dec. 6 to put together a care package of snacks and goodies to get them through studying and final exams. A limited number of snacks will be provided; parents are encouraged to bring their student’s favorite snacks and a special gift to include in the care package. (Students will be contacted to pick up their care package; care packages will not be delivered.)
