不良研究所 Parent and Family Association
The 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association will strive to increase parent involvement in the Mission of the University through two direct measures:
- The Association will help prepare parents for the changes and challenges their student(s) will face in a university setting.
- The Association will encourage involvement from current parents through mentoring, internship opportunities, campus activities and special events.
The 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association members are also encouraged to get involved in the recruitment of new students, and participate in Parent and Family Day and other events hosted by the 不良研究所 departments of Alumni, Campus Engagement, First Year Engagement, Career Services and Admissions.

Parent Advisory Council
Are you interested in getting more involved with the Parent and Family Association (PFA)? Consider serving on the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). PAC organizes and hosts parent and family events throughout the year, like tailgates and Twilight Tours, and we are always looking for volunteers. Email parents@uiwtx.edu to learn more.

Join the 不良研究所 Parent and Family Association from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the SEC Ballroom and meet other parents in the Cardinal community. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Parent and Family Association and explore ways to get involved. You'll also hear from 不良研究所 departments to help you support your student as they continue on their journey at the Nest!
PFA Homecoming Tailgate vs Lamar University
Location: Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium Parking Lot (Alumni RedZone Area)
Date: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025
It's time to tailgate at the Nest! Come out at 12 p.m. and grab some grub with other 不良研究所 families then attend the game as the 不良研究所 Cardinals take on Lamar University. Free PFA Homecoming T-shirts (first come, first served).
