The Office of Communications and Brand Marketing supports University photography needs by offering student photographers to cover on-campus events, and referrals to professional photographers for more high-level projects. The OCM team does not have an in-house photographer.
The ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Office of Communications and Brand Marketing employs student employees who may provide archival photography for on-campus events. Requests should be submitted at least 3 workdays in advance. Please note, a request does not guarantee the availability of a student employee to photograph your event.
The Office of Communications and Brand Marketing recommends hiring partner photographers for formal or otherwise notable events. If you are interested in hiring a photographer for your event, please email pr@uiwtx.edu for third-party photographer recommendations and contact information.
Archival photos from the University’s various events, campaigns and photoshoots are housed on Canto, a digital asset management system. Canto is accessible to ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù employees via Cardinal Apps or at (sign in with ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù credentials).
For photo needs not satisfied via the University’s digital asset management system, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù departments may purchase licenses to use stock imagery. The following are recommended sites for purchasing commercial use photos:
