San Antonio – November 20, 2024 – The ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù (²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù) is proud to announce that it has established a new collaborative agreement with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). This partnership will also extend to students attending the two ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù campuses in Mexico. The program will put an emphasis on providing immersive learning experiences that bridge cultural and academic knowledge.

“This agreement will foster and enrich exchange of ideas and experiences,” says Marcos Fragoso, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù vice president for International Affairs. “Students will immerse in Mexican culture, explore different approaches to healthcare and business, and gain invaluable intercultural knowledge. This collaboration not only strengthens academic and professional growth but also builds bridges of understanding between our communities.”

As part of the agreement, students and faculty will have the opportunity to stay at Centro Fox, which is a prominent cultural and educational center in San Cristóbal founded by former Mexican President Vicente Fox. Centro Fox will serve as the lodging and activity hub for various project engagements.

Practical experiences will be further enriched by hands-on work in a clinic in San Miguel de Allende, offering health and social service programs, as well as academic activities at UNAM’s San Miguel de Allende campus. Together, these institutions aim to foster a globalized educational experience that benefits local communities while enhancing students’ academic and intercultural skills.

Students are expected to start taking advantage of the new programming in Fall 2025.
