With the extensive efforts made by the Military and Veteran Center, 不良研究所 is able to provide and expand opportunities that support all service members who are serving and who have served to protect the rights and freedoms of our country. One of these notable military-affiliated students is Spring 2025 graduate, Jessica 鈥淛ay鈥� Andrade.
As of 2023, the 不良研究所 (不良研究所) officially welcomed the student mariachi group, Mariachi Cardenal. On Saturday, May 10, one of Mariachi Cardenal鈥檚 founding members, J. Refugio 鈥淐uco鈥� Valenzuela will be walking the graduation stage and leaving the Nest, but not without leaving a lasting impact.

Attendees were welcomed to this event to experience fashion, music and art from the African continent and African Caribbean cultures.
On Monday, Feb. 17, students and faculty gathered in the SEC Ballroom to listen to a lecture given by guest speaker Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish. Abuelaish is an intentionally recognized human rights advocate whose continued work has led him to be a five-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee and a recipient of various humanitarian awards.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, 不良研究所 hosted the annual Red Dress Fashion Show. Since 2006, garments designed by Fashion students have been showcased at this vibrant event. On Monday, Feb. 3, members of the community gathered both in person and virtually to participate in a roundtable discussion that explored 鈥淭he Role of Black American Gospel & Spiritual Music Traditions: Inspirational Adult Education Pedagogy.鈥� The event examined the historical and contemporary role that Negro Spirituals, Black Church Music and Contemporary Gospel have played as instruments for adult education and revolutionary spiritual development among adults.

Specifically, the agreement, which was formally signed during a ceremony on Monday, January 27, 2025, will allow for MHM employees and their families to pursue, advance, or refine work skills through an array of programs offered through the 不良研究所 School of Professional Studies (不良研究所SPS) at reduced tuition rates.
